Spalding TF DNA Smart Basketballs include a non-rechargeable lithium coin-cell battery that powers the Bluetooth® connection to your mobile device.
This fully embedded design preserves the integrity, balance, and playability of the ball.

The battery provides approximately 500 hours of connectivity — roughly 1 hour of connected use per day for 12 months.

Storage or use in extreme temperatures can reduce battery performance and shorten its life.

The basketball is covered by a 12-month Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, including battery life.

Normal wear and tear

Cosmetic damage (minor scratches, surface deformities, fading, or discoloration)

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or negligence

Prolonged exposure to weather or moisture

Failure to follow care instructions

Rips, cuts, tears, burns, or abrasions

Damage from heat treatments or steaming devices

Unauthorized modification or alteration

Purchases from unauthorized dealers (including auction or third-party marketplaces such as eBay, Craigslist, or non-verified Amazon sellers)

Counterfeit or second-hand (“used,” “as-is”) products
